Warranty Policy and Procedure
   
 

All XLAB products are guaranteed by Airo International against defects in materials and workmanship.  XLAB frames and wheels are covered under this warranty for a period of TWO years from the date of original retail purchase.  All other XLAB products are covered under this warranty for ONE year from the date of original retail purchase.  This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners.  Airo International’s sole obligation under this warranty is to repair or replace the product, at Airo International’s discretion.  Airo International reserves the right to replace defective products with like replacements that may have graphics, paint, or decals differing from the original part. 

Warranty Limitations 

-This warranty will not be valid for XLAB products that have been damaged or failed as the result of misuse, abuse, improper installation or repair, user modification, crashing, or poor maintenance. 

-Damage occurring during shipment of XLAB products must be presented directly to the shipper and is not covered by this warranty. 

-Damage or deterioration of the surface finish, aesthetics, or appearance of XLAB products that are the result of normal use and wear are not covered by this warranty. 

-The labor costs associated with the removal and/or reinstallation of warranted XLAB products are the user’s responsibility and are not covered by this warranty. 

-Shipping charges incurred as a result of returning a warranted XLAB product back to Airo International are the end-user’s responsibility and are not covered by this warranty. 

Warranty Procedure 

-Warranty claims should be processed by the original seller.  Return your defective XLAB product to the retail store where it was purchased, along with a copy of the original receipt. 

-If it is not possible to return the defective product to the store where it was purchased, contact Airo International directly at info@xlab-usa.com for a return authorization or “RA” number BEFORE returning the item in question.  This “RA” number is not an acceptance of the warranty claim, only a verification that the item is being returned for evaluation.  The XLAB product must be returned along with a copy of the original receipt, at which time it will be inspected.  The warranty claim will be approved or not dependent on the results of this inspection. 

Crash Replacement 

-At Airo International we understand that accidents can happen, and we offer an unconditional crash replacement policy for items that are not covered by this warranty.  Under this policy, damaged items will be replaced at 30% below suggested retail price, regardless of what caused the damage.  To begin a Crash Replacement claim, return the damaged product to the retail store where it was purchased, along with a copy of the original receipt. 

-If it is not possible to return the damaged product to the store where it was purchased, contact Airo International directly at info@xlab-usa.com for a return authorization or “RA” number BEFORE returning the item in question.  The XLAB product must be returned along with a copy of the original receipt.  Airo International will contact you after we receive the damaged product and update you on the status of your Crash Replacement claim.
